I know you have a history and all written up, but here is a Sci-Fi setting I wrote about a Month back:

In the year 2146, mankind was at its strongest. Diseases were at an all time low, technology was at tis peak, and every race and creed lived in harmony.
However, all the while the global birth rate was on the rise. Resources started to run out, polluttion filled the oceans and Earth's life force seemed spent.
Desperate for salvation, the member states of the united nations pooled their assets together for the Orion Project.
The Orion project wsa Earth's new space exploration program. In little time, the first Star ships capable of Graviton Pulse flight gathered raw resources from adjacent unnoccupied solar systems.
The First three ships to grace other frontiers were Christened the Gorbachev, Orreatto and Zimbabwe.

A Red Light Exploration vessel, the Gorbachev transported people and supplies. Crewed by engineers, pilots, soldiers and scientists, the ship would be an operations base. It would scan areas, and acr as a warship if necessary.
The Oregatto was a Science Vessel. Scouting ahead of the Gorbachev, it carried out its ownmissions, researching other worlds and mapping space geography.
Zimbabwe, a Spiral gun boat, was an attack ship with stealth and speed modifications. Thankfully, it did not fire a single round in its maiden voyage.

A year later, the three ships returned to Earth. Slowly but steadily, resources were replenished. A second phase of exploration was now under development. This was largely due to the fact that pollution still remained in the ocean.

The second phase consisted of acquiring colonies & terraforming suitable planets. The Next eight years consisted of Terraforming the First Earth Colony, Olympia. This was located in a nearby star system, designated Chronos, by the U.N. Olympia was similar to Earth, but with more oxygen and nitrogen in the air, as well as closer proximity to the system's sun. The system's sun was smaller than Earth's however. Little needed doing bar introducing new flora. Collonists set up cities and the planet soon became equal to Earth, albeit cleaner. Embargoes on stripping resources from the planet were pu in place so that another Earth scenario would not happen.

After several generation it was noted that Olympians were a stronger, taller and faster breed of humam, while Earthlings began to slowly develop psychic powers.
Over the next four decades, terrafroming and Starship technology develped in leaps and bounds. Earth aqcuired new planets and kept dominions over five solar syster, Sol, Chronos, Lakvar, Tetsu and Orblem.

Lakvar is a system with workshops, factories and labs. Orblem, & Tetsu are at present being terraformed, at the frontier of human space, at the start of the unexplored void.

all still human human, earth human i mean, although i am trying to incorporate some type of sub species due to different environments into the model desigbn, otherwise looking good so far.

Names are okay, but until one of us thinks of something better they'll stick.

Also consider the mainconlficts are happening at 2785, post Golden Age, andif your writing Golden Age type of material please name it so.

My heart is still set on the Olympia name though. I'll call this the Age of Discovery.
If you like any of the races in my other thread, they could be incoroporated. Only if you want them, that is.
I'll work on some Golden Age stuff.

Heres an idea for a sub species of human:

Larasians.
Smaller build than a human, and shorter, Larasians are humans of descent on the Solar system of Lakvar, with its primary human colony close to the sun. They have polaer skin and blue eyes and hair, and possess powerful, If not dormant, psychic abilitis.

Orbonites.
Orbonites are a sub species of human. Odd Gravitational fields exist on theat planet, allowing the manipulation of nature, to a limited extent. In different seasons, gravity is different. In winter it is three times stronger than Earth, while in summer it is about three quarters that of Earth. Orbonites are extremely tough, and some who practice martial arts have developed Ki-energy powers from the myths of Earth.

i think you may have missed the point a little, they are humans as we are humans, no special powers or stuff like that, it takes 100,000 years to see any real change in a species, look how long the dinosaurs lasted and when we think of em we tend to think Jurrasic at the earliest, mainly Crutaceous.

Tell me a bit more of what your looking for and I'll think something up.
So you don't want them that different, but a bit.
Physical appearances right?

Like say on a scale of one to ten what do you want:

1. Different skin pigmentation / new ethnicities
2. Different Irises (slight)
3. Minor deficiencies (shorter life span on average)
4. Slight mutation (as oppossed to evolution, such as blood functioning to combat disease)
5. Newer uses for certain organs
6. Different use for certain organs
7. Bizarre cultures influenced by aliens
8. Major deficiencies (glass bones)
9. Powers
10. Space lizards evolved from humans!

Natural selection may take a long time that's true, but manipulated genes and forced mutation can more rapidly change a species, even to the point of being a different species. In other words, they no longer can crossbreed.

perhaps a slight implimentation of psychic powers and different skin colours, but otherwise they are all the same, that's it, no different species, that why i have two alien for the game system.

I'll sitck with a human group with purple Irises from environemntal radiation and very high reflexes (like Spiderman) dut to environmntel effects.

and i would have trouble publishing it i am sorry, as a note, everything is under consideration, it would take a major change in the human genome to produce Spidey type reflex.

there all human as we are human, that's where i stand on TC, if you want to use those ideas in your systems go ahead, but i won't publish something that goes clearly against the current system.
